How To Fill Out Fields On Dance Shoe Orders
It's always a good feeling to receive fitting dance shoes at first delivery! Because irish dance shoes do fit differently to street shoes or sports shoes, we need your support by giving us information or making selections when ordering irish dance shoes or dance clothing items. This is the best way to prevent from disappointing, expensive and also time-consuming misdeliveries.
We do everything we can, to make orders as comfortably as possible here at Celtic Dance World. Now we would like to explain how to select or fill-out the required fields while ordering.

Simply take your common/street shoe size as starting point if you are between sizes, take the largest size of your shoe sizes as starting point. Based on this size you will find special order size recommendations for all different levels and foot types in our item description of every irish dance shoe model. If you have identified an order size, please select this size in the first field "Order size". If you feel unsure with the sizes or if you are not sure if you have narrow, normal or wide(r) feet, please feel free to send us your foot traces from both feet by letter post. It's really easy to acquire them by using our foottrace-drawing-guideline.

If you or the wearer has already worn/danced/tried on exactly this(!) shoe model in the above selected order size (see UK-size on the right hand of the order size) and would like to have it again in this size just activate the checkbox on the left. This would prevent from unnecessary requests on our part. Maybe it's still possible to find / identify the order size of the old pair on the shoe sole, inside the shoe or at the old invoice. If you have ordered the pair from Celtic Dance World too, we will usualy be able to find out the old order size for you. |

This is also a very important reference to determine the correct model size which can vary the size you usually wear in street shoes. We do not mean the size worn in sports shoes, trainers or Jazz tap shoes because they are always different too. Please do also not state larger or smaller sizes than your true street shoe size here because this would make it imposssible for us to identify a correspoding model size! If you are between two sizes, select the largest size as most common shoe size. Example: You usually wear street shoes in size UK 5 (EU 38) as well as in size UK 5.5 (EU 38.5). Please select size UK 5.5 (EU 38.5) as your common street shoe size. |

 Please select the foot width of the related pair. Just take our example picture on the right side as reference. Because there are only a few dance shoe models in different widths availabe we need this information to find out the correct model size for the above requested street shoe size in combination with your foot width.Please note that some shoe model are not suitable for wide(r) feet. Please always compare with information in our item descriptions. E.g. Fays jig shoes are a "no go" for the most of wide feets. Only a few show dancers with wide feet ordered them from us (... yes, ouch!). |
