Security For Your DataWe from Celtic Dance World take your data privacy, and our own site security, extremely seriously. So we invest in SSL secure e-commerce technology, because we recognised how important this issue is. We also guarantee a responsible handling of all your personal data and according to the regulations of the strict german data privacy laws! We will always treat your privacy and data security with the utmost care. We build our systems to the highest security standards and use the latest in security technology to ensure your credit card information stays safe. Our rigorous security practices mean you can be assured that your credit card data is actually safer with us than, for example, ordering by telephone or saving them in e-shops with a login-function.
Sensitive data such as credit card numbers are securely encrypted, using the SSL-technology (128-bit) for every stage of their communication route. If not please check the address line of your internetbrowser. It must contain a http://www.celtic-dance-world.com/... but not only http://celtic-dance-world.com/...!
We never store credit card numbers on our servers.
You will recognize that you are in a SSL-secured area by the help of a closed padlock symbol at the bottom of the status bar of your internet browser. If your computer does not supply SSL-technology - rarely but possible - you do not need to worry about that your personal data will be sent uncoded. You will usually receive an error message from our website instead. Please ask your internet provider what to do in this case. Our SSL-Certificate:

Of course it's very comfortbale to use a customer-login to have your complete data at your's disposal for not typing in all data again in a new mail-order. But please also realise, that your complete data will be safed on an internet-server somewhere in the world when establishing an user-account or login! Usually your data will also be technically secured, but in a case of trouble your complete personal, sensitive data (e.g. credit card details) would may be available for unauthorized! This is the reason why we do not provide a registration or login-function in our shop system any longer! As a result you will always have to retype your complete data for every mail-order, but what's the difference for more data security?!

No personal information is stored in the cookies that are issued by the web site and the cookie will not be viewable by any other website (provided your browser does not contain flaws that allow this). To permanently disable cookies please follow the documentation that was provided with your web site browser application. Most have built-in help files that will show you a step by step guide to disable cookies. This website also uses tracker technology from the etracker GmbH (www.etracker.de) to collect visitor behavior data and internal marketing purposes. The data is collected anonymously to be used for marketing and optimization purposes. All visitor data is saved using an anonymous user ID to aggregate a usage profile. Cookies may be used for this purpose. Cookies are small text files that are stored in the visitor’s local browser cache and enable recognition of the browser when the visitor returns. 4. Google +1 Button We make use of the Google +1 Button-technology of the social network Google Plus of Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, Kalifornien, 94043 USA, (= "Google"). The Google +1 button is a way for you to share information publicly with the world. The Google +1 button helps you and others receive personalized content from Google and their partners. The fact that you +1’d something will be recorded by Google, along with information about the page you were viewing when you clicked on the +1 button. Your +1’s may appear to others as an annotation with your profile name and photo in Google services (such as in search results or on your Google Profile) or elsewhere on websites and ads on the Internet. Google will record information about your +1 activity in order to provide you and other users with a better experience on Google services. In order to use the Google +1 button, you need to have a public Google Profile visible to the world, which at a minimum includes the name you chose for the profile. That name will be used across Google services and in some cases it may replace another name you’ve used when sharing content under your Google Account. Google may display your Google Profile identity to people who have your email address or other identifying information. In addition to the above-described uses, the information you provide to us is used subject to Googles main Google Privacy Policy. Google may share aggregate statistics related to users’ +1 activity with the public, their users, and partners, such as publishers, advertisers, or connected sites. For example, Google may tell a publisher that “10% of the people who +1’d this page are in Tacoma, Washington.” You may view the list of items you have +1’d on the +1 tab on your Profile. You can remove individual items from that list. You may opt out of seeing +1 recommendations on third-party websites (including on ads on third-party sites) from people you know. Google will store data (such as your recent +1’s) locally in your browser. You may be able to access and clear this information in your browser settings. More detailed information about collecting and processing of data from Google, about your rights and possibilities of saving your privacy you will find in the data security info of Google, at: http://www.google.com/intl/en/+/policy/+1button.html.
