Product Information & ServiceThese pages contain additional information, consulting and hints around our products and services.
| | | | | | | | | The choice of a soft shoe type basically depends from personal requirements. E.g. how often and how long as well as what you will be dancing (learner, hobby dancer, championship or principal dancer etc.). Simply use our information guide below, to choose a matching Irish pump: | | Read more... | Read more... | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | If you are new to our products or are unsure what size to order, sometimes it is a good idea to send us over an outline of your feet so we can advise you. We will measure it and inform you of our sizing recommendation. Please note that this is only our recommendation and doesn't guarantee the correct size, but it has saved many customers the inconvenience of sending shoes back for exchange. To ensure we can advise you as accurately as possible, we recommend that you follow these guidelines.
- Always take the measures before dancing only, never after dancing or practicing!
- Place the paper on a flat surface
- Stand on the line with your heel and longest toe centred on the line
- Draw around your foot ideally with your dancing socks or dancing tights on. There is no need to draw between the toes and removes the temptation to "spread" the toes to draw between them
- Draw a line on the sheet going from the back of your heel to the tip of your longest toe and write it on the sheet
- Please always draw from both feet because most people have one foot larger and wider than the other
Please note that we will make every effort to provide you with the best sizing estimate possible based on the information you provide us with. So you should also fill out our special form for additional sizing information that will help us to find the right order size. Thank you very much for your assistance!
Please always send traces by fax or letter post, thank you! Unfortunately scanned foot traces sent by fax or by email are inapplicable.
Send them to:
Celtic Dance World Bonhoefferstr. 4 27793 Wildeshausen Germany
We'll deposit your foot traces for possible further orders. There is no need to send us your traces with every new order. :-) | | Read more... | Read more... | | | | | | | | | | | | | | Give us the brand, model name and sizes of the Irish dance shoes that you wear actually or you've worn before. This will help to reduce wrong deliveries, sparen cost of exchange and delivery times. If you have to fill out this form again, e.g. because of group orders, click "reset" to reset this form. Now you can fill the fields again with new data. After filling the fields please click the "send" button. | We receive many questions from beginners in Irish dancing and parents, who's daughter or son wants to learn Irish dancing. Mainly they want to know about the things that one should look out for, e.g. which is the right and appropriate first equipment and in which size they need which dancing shoes etc. This is why we would like to state some advise and useful hints:
First of all we recommend to talk to the Irish dancing teacher to see if they have particular requirements. Try to find out if he/she is equal to the situation of teaching Irish dancing to children. This is naturally not always the fact.
Some Irish dancing teachers also want to equip all pupils with the same kind of dance shoe. Try to make sure which shoe model they prefer before you go spend some money on a dance shoe purchase. | | Read more... | Read more... | | | | | | | | | | | | As an owner of a dancing dress you may be only too aware of the problems you can have selling your dress at the competitions. It is not every week you may be in attendance at the nearest feis and the dress either disappears under the bed or in the wardrobe. Simply use our online-store with more than 100 international site visitors a day who are Irish dancers as well. You will pay nothing! | | Read more... | | |
